Hi, I just found out I had a partial molar pregnancy. I had a d&c two weeks ago and I went for a follow up today to receive the news.

I did a pregnancy test at home just now which was negative.. has anyone else done this?

Also, does anyone know when you can start trying again after it? I've been told it's normally 6 months.

Hi @user1497937712
I was discharged last month from the hospital and free to try again now.
I had a D&C in April it took about 6+ weeks to get negative test. I was monitored by charringcross every two weeks bloods and urine. Once you get a negative blood results its urine samples every 4 weeks. You need two negative urine tests and then the discharge you!
It took a while for my hormones to come back down to normal.
I am now 5 weeks pregnant! I got dischatged just before my fertile window and caught straight away! So fingers crossed it all works out this time.
Let me know if you have any more questions. Smile
