Best maternity bra for large bust G+

Creeping steadily towards my 2nd trimester with dc2. Usual size is a 34FF, when I was breastfeeding I was fitted by bravissimo into a fantastic panache bra in size 36j.

I’m already spilling out my 34ff underwired bras and finding them uncomfortable, especially as my boobs are so achey and sensitive anyway.

Can anyone recommend a really supportive (I need a lot of uplift after my first dc finished nursing), bra for pregnancy?

I’m not yet needing my huge nursing bras but don’t want to waste money on something cheap and useless for pregnancy, I want something that can grow with me and keep everything from heading south.

I’m a DD but have had to buy 3 new bras in an E cup since getting pregnant. They are all Triumph bras and I think there’s loads of different stockists so try searching online for Triumph bras and shop around.
I really struggle to find comfortable bras that also offer support and are flattering, hate it when bras make me look ridiculously busty! All three of these Triumph bras have been great.
They’re aren't specifically maternity bras, just good ones :)

I'm having similar trouble, 25 weeks and just gone for my third increase in size! 😫 I have one from bravado which I really like - they are all nursing though but its so comfy and surprisingly supportive. Unfortunately I bought the biggest size and I think I will grow out of it! Im about a 34H /HH now its crazy. Also wearing a lot of sport s bras but they don't give a great shape

I’m struggling to find a nursing bra, I’ve ordered a few different ones to try on and they all seem to be non-wired and offer no support at all :/ any recommendations? I want underwire and no padding.

I've just been looking at nursing bras from bravissimo, and just wondered which panache bra is it that you got previously? I got a bra by panache called sophie but it's not quite as supportive/uplifting as I would have liked.

Struggling here to. With Ds I started at 34e and ended up a 36h im currently 10 weeks and already a 36h and need to find support. Pain in the bum not being able to go to anything on the highstreet :/

Thanks for all the replies!

I think it might have been the panache Sophie, it’s a Lacey navy blue number with a peachy lining. It’s not exactly super flattering but it felt like it contained the bowling balls that were several times bigger than my dc’s head Confused

I’ll have a look at the triumph range. I feel like my granny might of worn those, in a good way, she was very stylish and tamed a large bust... thanks for that gene!

I was 34GG pre pregnancy. I wore wired bras throughout pregnancy as felt I needed the support and all the non wired maternity bras made my boobs look like sad sagging sacks. I bought a 36H in my usual bra and a bra back extender and this worked for me. So I can’t recommend a maternity bra, but when you do have your baby, the best nursing bra I’ve found is the hot milk temptation bra, it’s the only one that I could find to fit (34HH now!) and give decent shape and support.

SRK16 · 20/08/2020 21:38

Oh I also have the panache Sophie bra you mention- it’s comfy but I didn’t feel supportive enough to go out and about in, so I use it only at home.
Everything else I tried was hideous or didn’t fit. Don’t bother with the Royce bras, they were so depressing I think I actually cried trying one of them on!

FluffyPurpleSlippers · 20/08/2020 21:51

Urgh, I’ve looked at the triumph bras, the only ones that would accommodate me look like passion killing depressive boob enslavement.

It’s a real mine field with the way shopping is now. I hadn’t thought of a back extender so that may help with the pinching until I can get to bravissimo.

Honestly before my first dc I was a 34E. To go to a 36J, bearing in mind that includes several sizes with double letters.. I felt like I could fall over with the damn things!

I’ll remember to ask to try the hot milk range. I saw they now do a nursing vest for F+ boobs. The amount of friends I could have cried at when they’d say “ooh H&M vests have built in bras”. Not for me they don’t!

Have you had a look at the Freya Erin? Seems to be new out and looks relatively normal like a t shirt bra.

I'm already 34H and just gone 10 weeks and worried there won't be much/any choice toward the end :(

Bettie2192 · 20/08/2020 23:03

@FluffyPurpleSlippers oh no that’s a shame, I didn’t think they were that bad! The ones I’ve got aren’t the sexiest bras in the world but they’re nice enough.

I’ve given in and just kept these two non-wired ones I ordered from M&S, they’re comfy and they fit which are the most important things. Just hate how my boobs look when they’re not in a proper supportive, flattering bra. I’ll have to wear loose T-shirts so it’s not obvious lol.

Bettie2192 · 20/08/2020 23:05

@SRK16 I looked at the Royce bras and thought damn they look comfy but so so ugly 😂

chuffedasbuttons · 20/08/2020 23:27

Rosa faia by Anita - German I believe. Look there

UrsulaSings · 23/08/2020 13:42

I was a 34E as well! I hate how big my boobs have got now! I tried the hotmilk vest for F+ and it's ok but not brilliant...I did end up keeping it, but the material felt very thick.

Might try the hotmilk temptation bra as I've heard lots of people say positive things about that one. They're just so expensive! But I suppose it's worth it to feel actually ok about how you look and not like your boobs are down by your waist!!
