I recently had a medical abortion due to an empty sac pregnancy. Can you share your experiences as to when my hormone levels will drop and how long the bleeding will last

I had one that I didn't need to take pills for, I miscarried before it got to that so I don't know what difference that makes to what you've asked. But my bleeding lasted about a week maybe a little longer, and I got a negative pregnancy test after about two weeks.

Sorry for your loss. I should have been 8 weeks but 2 scans showed no progress. Sac measured 13mm. They thought ectopic at first but said the chances were slim after a follow up appointment. Ive had 2 now, the first was a d+c. I still have sore breasts and feel bloated but i dont know what to look for in terms of everything being passed. What are the signs of an incomplete miscarriage? My hcg levels were 11000 three days ago

I had a blighted ovum early last year and a D&C which ended up being incomplete and landed me back in hospital. I bled for around two weeks afterwards then almost a calendar month after I was back in hospital I took my first period and got straight back to a 28 day cycle but I know that's not the case for everyone.

I had one. Bleeding stopped after about two weeks and my normal cycle resumed exactly 30 days after the operation - I had the MVA procedure.

Waited one cycle then tried again. Now have DD. Good luck OP and I'm sorry you're going through this

Thanks guys. The day after the tablets the bleeding was only spotting but its gradually increased with a few cramps. Just hoping everything was expelled and i can move on. When i had the d+c last time i instantly felt in my pre-pregnant state but now i dont. Its all confusing, and you find every nurse/doctor say different things. If it happens again im sure they will look into why its happening?
