Free dental care

I know we are meant to get free dental care but how can we if NHS dentists won’t see us? I apparently have a check up next month but I bet it gets cancelled!

Mine was cancelled for next month and my DD who is 4 basically told they don't know when they will be doing routine appointments again and it's emergency only

I had a abcess on my tooth and called 40+ NHS dentists and none of them would see me as they are not accepting new patients so could not get free dental and had to go private.
