Bleeding and cramping at 8 weeks!

Has anyone had this and had a positive outcome?
I am 8 weeks and 2 days today and two days ago I found that when I wiped there was dark red, almost brown blood. I had no pain and it was really light so only a little concerned.
This continued but then today the blood has got a bit brighter, still not huge amounts and mainly when wiping. What is making me worry far more are the cramps I am experiencing today which are very strong, especially in my back, almost taking my breath away. That, to me is not a good sign!

Don't have an allocated nidfwife yet but managed to talk to one today who said she would pass my details to EPU to get in touch with me, probably tomorrow.
My hopes aren't very high right now...

I’m so sorry. Sending a hand hold. I have this right now too. Im behind you at around 7 weeks but I’ve had a diagnosed area of bleeding causing the bleeding. I’ve found this to be pretty common. What’s annoying me now is that I’ve had a few niggles and cramps.

Sorry I don’t have the answers you probably want to hear. I’ve read the whole internet and these things do have happy endings A lot of the time. Rest up. Drink loads of water. And be gentle with yourself X

@Catchafallingstar15 thanks for your reply and sorry to read you are going through similar worry. I have been doing far too much googling and can see that it can go either way really. I can’t see how it will be ok for me with this sort of pain so I’m preparing for the worst. Currently resting as it’s really made me feel drained today!
