Pregnant after molar

Hi ladies, I'm looking for a little reassurance... earlier this year I had a molar pregnancy which wasn't diagnosed until a scan at 10 weeks. Previous to that I'd had 4 miscarriages, then my son who's now 2.5. I've now just found out I'm 4 weeks pregnant and I am so scared and anxious about something going wrong again, much more so than after the miscarriages before. Does anyone have experience of falling pregnant after a molar as I'd love to hear some stories with a happy ending please?!

Hey, not a personal experience, but my best mate had a complete molar and her next pregnancy was totally fine! She’s got a gorgeous, very healthy, 7 month old little boy now 😍 The hospital she went to for the molar said their office is filled with photos of babies born safe and sound after a molar ❤️

Congrats on your pregnancy! 🥰

Hi @Nimsay1 I am currently 5 weeks pregnant after being treated for a partial Mole since April found out at scan.. I got signed of July and caught straight away. I will join you and the anxiety bus! I don't feel particularly pregnant at the moment and keep telling myself that statistically the chances of it happening again are as low as it happening in the first place!!! Fibgers crossed we should be fine!

My friend had a molar nearly two years ago... she's now 36 weeks pregnant with a v straightforward pregnancy. Fingers crossed you have the same outcome xx

Oh wow, sounds like our timings are very similar. My molar was found in April too! Congrats on your pregnancy and let's hope this is our time!
