Discharge/ bleeding after sex

-sorry maybe TMI- After doing the deed last night, this morning I've woken up and when I've wiped there's quite a bit of brown discharge. Second time I went to the toilet and there was a small clot which was a dark red/ brown kind of colour. Should I be worried? I'm very early on in my pregnancy only 5+3, I've been doing pregnancy tests every day since I got my first BFP on 8th August, my lines are now very dark but I'm just worried now is this the aftermath of sex during pregnancy or does this sound like mc?

I have had bleeding after sex with this pregnancy and all is fine (had a scan today at 8 weeks).

I have had two MC - and you really know about it when they happen. The bleeding really gets heavy and there are often clots and pain.

Try not to worry )easier said than done, I know) x

Tbh it could be anything and it's impossible to say...
I had a similar problem in December and ended up in EPU very worried. My scan showed normal for 5 weeks despite the spotting after sex. However the follow up scan at 6 weeks showed a very slow progression and i MC a couple of days later.

But that being said, spotting after sex is quite normal in pregnancy so don't know if the two were related or not.

The most important is for the bleeding not to get worse.

Thank you. Makes me feel slightly better but it's hard not to worry! I was more concerned about the clot to be honest, as I read that it was normal to have some coloured discharge after sex. It's not become worse throughout the day just had very light brown on tissue when wiping but no more clots so fingers crossed!
