as in is it a banned food when you're pregnant. Am lusting after it but have a notion that as its a crustacean it'll be on the banned list. Twoud be fresh and cooked in a local restaurant which specialises in lobster. I'm 35 weeks

Yes its shellfish.
Whether it could be harmful that late in pg I have no idea.

I had lobster a while ago. Is it a problem of the lobster being loaded up with heavy metals? I would think it might not be too, too bad at 35 weeks. Since it's fresh, and freshly cooked, I don't see bacteria being much of a problem.

I have not been very cautious since first trimester, basically just eating whatever I had available and wanted. That included some gooey things on the halfshell one night, which are most definitely banned (but knew they were fresh and local).
