Is this a positive? I think i can see a faint second line to the left of the bold pink line.

Thank you

Yup that’s positive. Congrats x

Is the blue bit that you hold also wet? Just trying to determine if you went over the Max dip level line. If not then, congratulations! I see it.

BFP2020 · 17/08/2020 11:31

@UnicornAndSparkles There is a faint line there but I dunno how reliable those tests are. How many DPO are you and have you got a FRER?

Emmagen · 17/08/2020 11:42

For those tests that is quite a strong positive. I always want to double check internet cheapies with a branded one but based on that test I'd say pregnant!

The test does look quite wet though, did it get flooded?

UnicornAndSparkles · 17/08/2020 12:10

Thanks all. The blue bit isn't wet; its the shadow of me trying to take the photo that makes it look that way. I dipped into a cup to ensure the rest of the test didn't get wet.

I've ordered a clear blue with "pregnant" / "not pregnant" for some reassurance!

Im not sure of timings as I've only recently come off the pill, but I'm on cycle day 30 today and last month (first cycle off the pill) my period came after 28 days. But I know we DTD once during my alleged ovulation dates according to an app, but that was only 2 weeks ago. So very early days.

@UnicornAndSparkles I would say that is definitely a positive congratulations xx

bellbaeu · 17/08/2020 12:27

Def positive. Mine was much lighter than that and now have a 5 month old . Congratulations

wannabe123 · 17/08/2020 18:31

That looks positive to me! Congratulations. DTD 2 weeks ago will put you at 4 weeks pregnant as it is calculated from the first day of your last period and not your ovulation day.

MrsK89 · 17/08/2020 18:38

Looks positive! I always used cheap tests from ebay and never got a false positive, so congratulations!

UnicornAndSparkles · 17/08/2020 19:16

Oh gosh...Shock

Not sure why I feel shocked! We weren't trying for very long and I just expected it to be a while off yet.

Those with two...how do you cope going back to sleepless nights and feeding etc etc? I know it's a bit late to ask now. But DD was an awful sleeper but is fine now at age 3 so I'm a bit worried about going back to the sleeplessness!

@UnicornandSparkles I have 3 very close in age and pregnant with 4th now. I've found by the end of the pregnancy you will be pretty used to waking up numerous times during the night (for the toilet).
I know it's a different story once you are feeding during the night, just try and rest during the day, if not sleep early when DD goes to bed x

bellbaeu · 17/08/2020 22:38

@UnicornAndSparkles my youngest 2 are only a year apart. One is 17 months and the other is 5 months.

I must admit the first 2 weeks were hard but after that baby only woke 1-2 times a night and would go straight back so wasn't to bad plus you get used to be tired. If you know what I mean!
Luckily she started sleeping though from 10 weeks and my 17 month old likes her sleep as well so she wouldn't wake till around 8am.

I won't lie it is hard but you get used to and get your own little routine in order. I wouldn't change it for the world now Smile
