Second trimester ‘lull’

I’m currently 14+4 with DC2 and I’m well and truly in that lull where I no longer feel pregnant.

Symptoms have gone, I just look like I’ve had a few takeaways during lockdown. Can’t feel baby moving yet and it’s weeks away from my 20 week scan.

I remember hating this time with my first pregnancy as I just don’t feel pregnant Hmm I’m sure in about 10-15 weeks I will miss these times but for now I’m considering booking a scan at 16 weeks just for another look.

Anyone else feel the same?

Ooh I could have written this! I'm 13+4 and I feel nothing except slightly fat... just had my 12 week scan last week and the 20 week one isn't until the start of October!

I’m exactly the same. I’ve booked a scan for 16 weeks to break it up a little.

I had a mmc earlier this year and have been nervous since i found out about this pregnancy.

All symptoms have gone which i’m sure is not an issue but it doesnt help with the anxiety!

Me too 🙋🏼‍♀️ I booked a 16 week scan which is this weekend so I’m hoping it’ll be a bit of a pick me up but I’ve felt the same the last 2-3 weeks. If I didn’t have a bit of a belly I’d wonder if the last 3 months had all been a weird pukey dream!!

Ahh thank god I'm not alone! It’s like being stuck in limbo Confused

We’re not going to find out the sex of the baby, so I find a 16 week scan a little risky but I will be climbing the walls, especially as I won’t have a face to face with my midwife at 16 weeks. Last time I got to hear the heartbeat with the Doppler which helped loads!

Welcome to the club! I’m 18 weeks and still not really felt anything that’s not most likely to be wind. Two weeks until the 20 week scan and look like I’ve just gorges through lockdown.

Absolute madness missing the vomiting 🤣

Very similar, 13+3 here! Definitely noticing my belly sticking out a bit more than usual but I had a fair starting point anyway...looking forward to looking more pregnant and feeling moves, but I know that could be a while away yet, first baby for me!

I'm the exact opposite - i'm 5 weeks and bedridden with horrific nausea. I can't wait to be in the 2nd trimester when the symptoms will hopefully ease and I can dream of potentially leaving the house, or just the bedroom would be a good start. Sad

Literally feeling the same I'm 14+6 and not really feeling much ,been told I've got a low papp-a and high hcg I'm high risk as well as I'm T2D so I'm really worried.

Haha @Darcy86 I like that about the starting point! Im nearly 14 weeks and my friend is 21 weeks - she sent me a pic of her tummy and I think mine is about the same size :S
