I had a scan today and I’m exactly 6 weeks . There was a heartbeat and the crl measured 3mm. Is that small? Anybody else had a scan at 6 weeks on the dot and what was your crl measurement ?

My last pregnancy I had a scan at 7weeks but measured at 6 (with heartbeat) and the CRL was 3.7mm if I remember correctly. They’re so tiny at that stage, the sizing can be a bit out as so hard to measure.

My twins at 6 weeks were 4.8mm and 5.3mm but I found a table on the internet of CRL and gestational age and 3mm is right for about 6 weeks so sounds ok?

What did the doctor say?

My twins at 5+4 were 2.2 and 1.8. Most of the usual or normal measurements you will read on the internet are wrong - if you can find an actual medical paper it tends to be more reassuring. I checked and the median appears to be 3.2 at 6 weeks, so you're pretty close.

It was a private one he didn't say anything just me looking to see what's normal at 6 weeks and wondered if it was small
Or average x

Amazing thank you so much for answering. I am worrying and it’s given me some reassurance
