Sorry if this should be in “Coronavirus” category instead.
I’m wondering how anyone in the last few weeks of pregnancy is handling the current situation?
I’m 33 weeks and not in work, not going to shops etc I haven’t missed them and my husband is happy to go once a week.

Are you seeing friends and family? Do you plan to lockdown 2 weeks before due date? My local hospital is asking women to this before induction or cesareans but not sure about spontaneous labours (as who knows when 2 weeks before is)

I’m also wondering if people are letting family/friends visit once the baby is born?

My family are not taking things seriously and don’t seem to see any risk any more.

I'm 34 weeks and won't be isolating prior to labour, as we both work full time. Me and DH have been going about a business as usual but with the added precautions of social distancing, face masks, hand gel and washing our hands as soon we get to wherever it is we are going. Washing our before we leave and when we arrive home.
In terms of visitors after baby gets here we have said we are going to wait and see what is happening with government guidelines.
If it's the same as what it is now, we are allowing close friends and family round but only one household at a time. They must wash their hands when coming into the house and wear a mask if they want to hold the baby.
This only applies to parents, siblings and my two best friends. Everyone else will have to wait for a visit.
If anyone is unwell, they will have to stay away and it will be face time only!
Totally sucks but you gotta do what you gotta do!

My baby is 4 weeks now but we didn’t isolate before birth - hubby was working and I have older kids.
Visitors were allowed but only in the garden and no holding.

I m not seeing friends or family or going out anywhere just going out for exercise , I had a fair bit of holiday to use up so managed to avoid going back to the office before I start mat leave at the end of the month. I m asthmatic as well so I really couldn't forgive myself if baby and I got sick because I couldn't resist going somewhere that wasn't necessary.

I m due at the end of October and live in a local lockdown area so I m not too hopeful of how things will be come then.

I will be self isolating a couple of weeks before my due date as I would be so annoyed with myself if I have to labour alone (i dont have anyone that's a back up birth partner so if I get covid, DH can't be there being from the same household) and had to have an isolated hospital birth which I really don't want. We haven't decided about visitors after he's born yet.
