Chemical experiences?

Those of you who have suffered chemical pregnancies, can you tell me what they were like?

I got a very faint positive at 9dpo. I'm now 12dpo and my P is due today. I've had a positive 1-2 weeks on a digital (Friday), but the lines on frer are still quite faint. They are almost invisible on cheapies, and whilst they have got very slightly darker on the cheapies, it's marginal and you really have to squint to see them. They look the same on the frers as they did with afternoon pee at 9dpo.

I am really nauseous (which seems ridiculous given I'm not even 4 weeks yet) and didn't have this til much later with my first. I'm convinced this is a chemical but I so so so want it to stick.

Do faint lines by my P due date sound like it's going to be bad news?

Attached a pic of this morning's test.

This is the line progression on frer and cheapies. Shouldn't they be darker by now? Sad

I wouldn't automatically assume chemical. You are still so early. Most people don't test until after the period is missed. Internet cheapies are not very sensitive so you need to have more HCG in wee than you typically would at 14dpo.

Leave it a few days and test again maybe on Monday. HCG takes 48hrs to double so no point reading every day you will stress yourself out.

Good luck!

Try not to freak yourself out @flingtop you’re still quite early on so the lines won’t be super dark yet. The internet cheapies I had looked just like yours at that stage and didn’t get darker until I was quite a few days passed the missed AF.
You also have to remember that your pee is not always going to be the same concentration (depends on how hydrated you are) and can give lighter or darker lines as a result. I agree with @Fredsgirl19 it’s hard to wait when you’re worried but give it a couple of days to let your hcg increase before you test again and you should get some darker lines 🤞

I know it's been a while but can I PLEASE have an update @flingtop? I'm in the exact same position as you and very worried.... Sad Thank you

Hello @2021TTC .

It wasn't a chemical in the end but it did turn into a missed miscarriage a few weeks later. 3 further miscarriages, treatment and I'm now in my second trimester so hoping this is the one.

Try not to panic, I know how scary it is, but what will be will be and you can't change it. There's no reason to think it will be a chemical - hopefully it's just super early for you and the lines are therefore taking a while to darken. Best of luck x

Going through it as we speak. I've passed period due date..still positive. Test got stronger and today finally... it is slightly lighter. I go for blood tests today but I am officially 100% sure it's chemical. My tests weren't squinters at all but thr darkness did not progress. A test taken yesterday and the one 2 days before looked exactly the same. I still have symtpms :(
