Hello I’m just wondering if I can get some advice. I took a pt on day my period was due and I got a good strong positive. I took a pt today (2 days later) and got a Bfp was it was fainter than the one I had 2 days ago. I’m just wondering if anyone can help me to as to why this would be. Thank you

We're both of them with your first pee of the day?

Rock13 · 15/08/2020 14:46

Hello no the first one was about 4 pm and the one today was about 11:30 am

It could just be that your pee was more diluted then. Try with your very first pee of the day in the mornjng 😊

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you OP. Hopefully it's a good sign that there's no sign of your period .

Before my period was due on Thursday I had light bleeding spotting for 2 days then on the day of my expected period I got the strong positive then earlier on today I got a fainter one than the one I had the other day

Are you using the same brand? I would keep testing with FMU every 2 days personally, but I would assume the best unless you're having pain or bleeding; sometimes the dye in the tests can differ. If in doubt, call your GP or go to early pregnancy unit.

I was using the hcg strips and didn’t like them so I’ve started using the digital tests from Tesco’s and I’m not having any pain or bad cramps etc been feeling sicky last 2 days also

Also having some dull back pain and I am really bloated

Stick to the same tests, then the variations in terms of dye/line strength won't be an issue. Pink dye tests are better, but all the symptoms you're having all sound positive 😊 if you're getting positives on digital tests, I'd take it as a sure positive!

That’s what I’m thinking to I did another one not so long ago and it showed up more than it did this morning. I just want to make sure everything is ok and I was just afraid because they are fainter than the one I had 2 days ago

Try not to worry (easier said than done I know!) and see how it goes, but I'd take a positive as a positive

Rock13 · 15/08/2020 16:26

I’ll keep you all posted thank you for all your help and kind words
