As above really. I had my community midwife appointment last week and she asked if I'd been feeling the baby as I should be due to second pregnancy. She listened to heartbeat and all seemed well, but I haven't felt a thing. Should I be worrying?

I have a posterior placenta so placenta not cushioning anything.

I have a BMI of 40, so that may be?

I wouldn't overly worry. I am 19 weeks, BMI of 23 and on my second pregnancy and I've not felt any movement yet, I had a private scan at 16 weeks and all looked well. I think with my first I didn't feel her until about 23 weeks!

I’m so glad I’ve seen this post as I’m in a similar position. 17+1 with second baby and haven’t felt anything despite have a posteria placenta and my midwife asked me if I had starting feeling movement at my 16 weeks appt. as if I should have done by now and I have been worried about it all week. We also had a scan a week ago and baby was active and happy, my BMI is ‘where I should be’ (sorry not sure what the right terminology is) so just hoping it’s one of those things and I will start to feel him/her soon. I have read that many mums feel second baby around the same time as first/20 weeks ish so trying not to let anxiety take over! Xx
