Getting Pregnant

Morning All.

Just confused and wanted to run this past you all. I came off contraception around 3 months ago and have been trying to conceive since then. I’ve had 2 periods since coming off and they have been perfect timing and always ran to a right schedule. However this month I have missed my period. I’ve had various symptoms like heartburn, cramps, mood swings, bloating. I was due to start AF on Wednesday and still no sign. However we have tested 4 times and all have been negative. But can’t understand why I’m missing period and I feel pregnant in myself. Is it possible to get a positive later on or am I 100% not pregnant?

Many thanks

It might just be your body getting used to coming off of your contraception?!

It can take a while for your body to settle after coming off contraception. Have you gone a full month with no period? Or is it a few days late?
Periods can be delayed for a number of reasons as well as coming of contraception such as stress etc. My cycles are normally very regular but I was 5 days late this month! Xx

Thanks both.

I’ve had 2 normal periods etc since coming away from contraception. And there has been many signs etc of pregnancy to us. I’m now 5 days late and still no sign of AF. Is there still a chance of getting a positive test after the missed period?

Many thanks

Hey

I came off the pill after 14 years last year and had two normal cycles. On my third cycle, my cycle went from 28 days to 39 and I also had some pregnancy symptoms. I did a test around day 36, left it a few days with the intention of taking another but started my period on day 39. I then fell pregnant in the 4th cycle 😊
