Has anyone caught the decluttering bug?

I've just had an 8 yard skip delivered yesterday and I'm so excited to fill it to the brim with junk and crap that's been filing up our house.

Then I'm onto flooring and paint to redecorate the bedrooms before the baby arrives (I'm almost 23 weeks).

Yet we haven't bought a single baby item yet 😬.

Has anyone else got this crazy nesting/renovation/decluttering pregnancy symptom?

Ha, ha. I'm glad it's not just me! I'm only 17 weeks but can't stop the cleaning/ declutter.
I chucked out 3 bin bags of old clothes yesterday and blitzed the playroom (much to my 3dc horror 😂)

It’s the hormones. That’s what causes nesting.

I've never felt the urge this early on before.
I am known for cleaning windows at 38 weeks! 😂

@Grumpy19 😂😂 did they put up a fight or just watch in shock as you blitzed the playroom?

I think I generally like decluttering, it's just amplified now. It's like I'm having a closing down sale: everything must go! 😂

Even the bedroom curtains need to get replaced (something I've been meaning to do for a year or two but wanted to get the room done up first- they were inherited with the house when we bought it).

I'm exactly the same. Trying to declutter every weekend and starting to feel much better for it.

However, charity shops near us aren't taking collections, so there's just bags and bags of shit in a cupboard.

I am in the throws of nesting too. Cannot stop cleaning 😂 house has never been in such a good shape!
