Is this a chemical pregnancy?

Hi there, just wanted to ask for a bit of advice if anyone has any.

The first day of my last period was the 25th June so I'm currently on day 51 of my cycle (my typical cycle is approx 33 days but is super irregular).

I didn't test for ages because I'm always late & irregular and we're not actively trying to conceive or are able to as currently live 40 miles apart.

On Tuesday evening I tested & got a faint positive & then on Wednesday morning I tested & got a faint positive but it was slightly darker than the night before. I tested again yesterday morning either a CB digi and also again this morning with a FR rapid response (thought I'd bought the ER) and they were both negative.

I suffer from endometriosis so am always in constant pain anyways but the pain got so bad last night that I had to ring 111 because I had an atypical sharp pain in my right ovary. They just told me to rest until the morning and to ring the doctors. I rang them today to explain the situation and they just said that with my endo and the ambiguous tests, the pain is probably just my endo pain combined with a late period, but if I get another positive however faint, call them up again.

Does this sound like a chemical pregnancy?

I would go to A&E as a suspected ectopic pregnancy TBH.

Do you think so? The pain isn't as bad today as it was last night.

Have you taken another test?

The one I took yesterday & the one I took this morning were both negative. I've had two faint positives & one potentially faint positive but it was so faint so I'm not really counting it.

If it was an ectopic you would get positive tests as your body is creating true hormone so I would probably try not to panic about that yet. I'd do a test in the morning and if negative assume it was a chemical - I had one this month too. Sorry, it's really crap.

*the hormone - sorry

Okay well at least I can probably rule that out! Sorry about your chemical, I hope you're doing okay & thank you for your input, I really appreciate it x
