Weird baby bumps

Weird question but I was wondering whether any experienced mums had had a similar bump? I'm 18+3 in the photo and I just find it really strange that it's flat at the front? I do have a weirdly deep belly button so I don't know if that could be causing it... Did anyone else experience this for it to then round out? If so, when did it round out?

I would think it's just because you have a strong core, so those muscles are still holding it in as such. You'll probably find it'll round out when you 'pop', but that could be weeks away. I think it's a lovely bump!

I looked similar to you at 18 weeks. I popped around 21 weeks. If you’re a first time mum then it takes longer for your bump to pop because the muscles haven’t been stretched before

Looks perfect for first baby! It will soon really pop out in the next few months... also what app did you use for stickers? Love it x

@mummy2myJJ I used Little Nugget, you do have to pay for the different sticker packs but I think I paid like £1 just for the week by week size ones but you can get all of them which seems like 100s for something like £5. I like it because I'm excited to see what the next one is so it encourages me to keep up with the bump photos!

Thanks so much ladies, super reassuring that I probably won't have a weird shaped bump for the entirety of my pregnancy ☺️

Mine looked like that until about 19 weeks, I could still pull it in quite a lot with my muscles until about week 21 (although I didn't because it was uncomfortable!) then it was much more out front suddenly. I also have an anterior placenta, so not sure if that makes it stick forward more? Now it's rounded and fairly high (24 weeks).

You look really good . It will round out as you get bigger !
