Can anybody recommend any books they read whilst pregnant that helped with first time mum nerves?

‘Expecting Better’ by Emily Oster. I can’t recommend this more highly. It is such a calm and reasoned look at pregnancy - it helped me so much with my nerves.

Another vote for expecting better. I took some of her conclusions with a pinch of salt (felt like she went about some elements of research looking for the answers she wanted to hear) but it helped me to understand the evidence behind some of the blanket guidance and gave me the confidence to make my own decisions

What to expect when you're expecting.

It's good for practical advice and covers the first year too.
