So I have hardly bought any mat clothes my entire pregnancy (didn't see the point with WFH and not going out anywhere).

A family birthday is coming up next week, plans were cancelled with covid, but its just been sprung on me that plans are reinstated and now I need to find a nice dress to wear as we're going somewhere relatively posh ish.
I have nothing to wear and 33w pregnant!

Help! I don't want to spend more than £50, size 8-10 pre-pregnancy, need something knee length (not mini dress or tunic style) and light weight in case of hot weather!

Please share any suggestions or links and help me find a dress!

KRISP® Women Knot Front Dress Ruched Flattering Stretch Spring Dresses https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07B9ZLN7L/ref=cmswwrcppapiii_GddnFbM4BBR1A

I have this, very lightweight, hangs nicely over the bump (also 33wks) and isn't too fussy do you can dress up or down

I’ve bought a dress and some shoes from silk Fred. All good. Not maternity though.

A few bargains on Tk Maxx website but limited sizes/styles - www.tkmaxx.com/uk/en/maternity-clothes/c/01021900?st=Maternity&sort=publishedDate-desc&facets=stockLevelStatus:inStock&page=0

Would definitely recommend popping into a TK Maxx if you are near one. You can see it too so know the quality better. I managed to get a perfect panic buy dress for a wedding at over 30 weeks last year 😁

@Margo34 I literally just ordered this from new look. Don't want to spend a huge amount of maternity clothes either!

Not sure if that one looks like it might be quite short though @SassyPants87, love te colour! Thanks.

So I ordered this www.silkfred.com/boutiques/golden-b-maternity/clothing/white-floral-maternity-maxi-dress from Silk Fred in Small and the length is good (not too long for a maxi, allowing for pregnancy clumsiness😉), fits beautifully and comfortably over bump but the top bit, bust and shoulders are huge!! I can pull them up 3 inches on each shoulder at least, it just doesn't stay up by itself at all!! 😭

TK Maxx there isn't a store near me unfortunately... Newlook I find bought a dress early 2nd trimester that looked lovely but ended up being a tent appropriate for little house on the prairie 😂

Will order the Amazon dress suggested above in reserve.

I'm getting desperate now so time tight 🙄 will look again at Seraphine.

I'm otherwise out of ideas and don't want to be that person who cancels because they've got nothing to wear 😒😭

Arghhhh

www.uk.isabellaoliver.com/collections/outlet?page=2

Isabella Oliver have a sale on at the moment, I often shop at Baukjen which is the same company, very well made clothes. Sizing wise they come up quite big in my experience.

Margo34 · 14/08/2020 15:24

@WhatTheFeckIsGoingOn thanks for your help, no so keen on the hem line on that second link 🤔
Am I just being fussy?! I've forgotten how to shop and what I like what I don't like what suits me what doesn't suit me 😔
So hard shopping online!

This just arrived - great fit, soft Jersey fabric hangs nicely plus should be useful BF too to get more use out of it.

Phew! Thanks for your help all
