Experiences - Cervical ectropion?!

Hi everyone, has anyone ever had a cervical ectropion whilst pregnant? TIA 😊

I have this, it meant that I had some bleeding during pregnancy, nothing massive, it was due to Lletz that I'd had nine months before falling pregnant. I had other issues with my cervix, but think that was related to the lletz rather than the cervical ectropian itself

Yup. Lots of bleeds.

@NoHunGosh @annlee3817 thank you for the replies! I had a very tiny bit of bleeding (by that I mean one wipe which had some blood on the tissue) and it has now stopped. I am 6+2. Hoping it won’t worry me as much if it happens again! X

Hi I’ve just been diagnosed with cervical ectropian after a bleed at 14 weeks (still spotting 4 days later). How long did it last for you? Was it on and off throughout pregnancy or a one off? Want to manage my expectations a little. Have had 5 early MCs previously - this is the furthest I’ve got and the sign of blood just freaks me out.

I had one diagnosed postpartum that judging by the level of bleeding was there all the way through. I bled very frequently, but the baby was fine.

I was diagnosed after a little bleeding at 18 weeks and it's been on and off pretty much every week since and I'm soon to be 28 weeks. It's so frustrating but I can feel baby kicking away so not as worrying but it is stressful!

Thanks for your replies. Helps me manage my expectations. I’m supposed to be on low dose asprin but have stopped as it makes the ectropian bleeding seem a lot worse. May just have to start again though and hope any ongoing bleeds are harmless. Thought after all my early MCs that by 15 weeks id be able to enjoy being pregnant 🙄 Don’t think I’ll relax until the little one is here now.
