Your pillow you sleep with. I found trational feeding pillows quite inflexible and found feeding DS for the first few weeks was easiest in the rugby hold with regular pillows.

I didn't have a feeding pillow for DC1 and had a lot of problems establishing feeding. A friend recommended a bbhugme pillow and i have treated myself to one now I'm pregnant again. Baby not due for another few weeks so cannot recommend personally yet but it looks great and ties at your back. It was expensive though (£60?) but happy to do anything to make the first few weeks of breastfeeding easier this time around. Friend swears by it.

Ikea £7 corner pillow that I had bought to help me sleep whilst pregnant. Tried it whilst feeding one day & it was brilliant. I had looked into traditional nursing pillows but they were all too small & stiff (and expensive!) for me.

Like pp I also did quite a lot of rugby ball hold with DS propped up slightly on normal square scatter cushions that we had on our settee. You can get them cheap from anywhere.

We had a Boppy pillow with DD and plan to use it again when (hopefully!) breastfeeding a newborn in February
