Primark haul

Just thought I'd share my little haul today in case it helps anyone else. I've been struggling getting comfy at night so went to Primark to see if I could get a large nightie to wear. I ended up buying a nightie, maternity pj bottoms, a maternity/nursing top, a light maternity dressing gown, some nursing bras and some huge seamless knickers! I had no idea Primark did all these things and they're so soft and lovely. The nightie was £6 so I'm planning on wearing it in hospital and just throwing it away if it gets as messy as I expect.

I also bought a small handheld fan for £5. It is rechargeable and also has a stand it can sit on. It has 3 different settings and seems much stronger than the usual handheld ones you find.

I'm maybe just late to the party with this but I was really impressed with all the bits I managed to pick up today and thought I'd share in case it helps anyone else.

Thankyou it's a huge help the DD needs to go shopping for all that sort of stuff

I am heading tomorrow in the desperate search for knickers, dresses that flow, and hospital bag stuff. Its good to know they have a few bits and pieces, although my primark isnt the biggest. Fingers crossed.

Sounds like good stuff. I will pop in later this week.

Primark are doing maternity clothes?!? Shock

Yorkshirelass251 · 11/08/2020 22:07

Glad it's helped a few people! I went to a big Primark in Leeds. I didn't see any maternity clothes but everything I bought was in the nightwear section.

I just went to my primark. I managed to get some long high waist skirts with stretchy waistbands which I bought 2 sizes bigger than my normal size so they will sit over the bump. I also bought some very loose and long t shirts and large strappy tops. I didnt find any actual maternity clothing but my primark is quite small. Considering the skirts were only £7 and the t shirts were £5 you cant go wrong. I just cant spend £40 on one maternity dress for just 12 weeks of use (once the sun shines).

Funnily enough I popped into mine today to try and finish off hospital bag. Picked up 2 night dresses, big pants, flipflops. They had some maternity bras in a medium so I'm going to take a risk seeing as I'm a 36E lol.
As far as I can tell they dont do any other maternity stuff in the store near me x

I found the Primark baby grows pretty good for the first few weeks too. Lovely soft cotton. No point spending a fortune on clothes they will literally grow out of in 3-4 weeks. Most of DS under 3 months stuff was Primark and he had some really sweet stuff.
