Can you tell gender from these pics?

I saw a similar post to this on here, apparently you can tell gender by looking at the nub?! I cant see anything like that on these pics cant tell where I am to be looking, but any guesses? :D I want to find out but my DH wants to wait! I am currently 13 wks

Just going to add my voice to this thread to say
If we could all start saying sex when we mean sex, and gender when we mean gender, it will help us all in the long run, might even mean organisations start getting forms right.

The op is 13 weeks. So this scan is likely to have been her dating scan. Guess what? Hospitals don't call it a 'gender scan'.

Because I, too, am a feminist, but I think it's pretty important that we recognise the hideously politicised issue of 'gender' versus 'sex'.

As has been demonstrated, there are quite a few women who have no idea how much that distinction matters.

Hopefully your girls never find themselves at 15 unknowingly sharing a guide camp tent with a boy; or as an adult in a women's refuge with a man. Let alone a prison cell.

But currently we are sleepwalking into that because we get all huffy when we are reminded of the vital difference between gender and sex.

I would put money on the fact that it hadn't occurred to the OP that there is a widening gulf of difference between sex and gender, and that her potentially girl child will find herself on the wrong side of that gulf if we do not challenge 'mistakes' like this.
