When is my gestation age? Very confused.

I had my first scan today and was told that I am 13weeks 1 day. Which means that I am 1 week ahead of what I worked out from the first day of my last period which was 16th of May. Now it turns out I still had an active egg on the 10th of May and had my period after I conceived! Is this possible? I did record an unprotected sex - day before my period... Just so if anyone needed that info 😂

It’s not unheard of to have a period style bleed in early pregnancy. Congratulations, don’t worry about it

So you likely conceived about 11 weeks 1 day ago... I haven't worked out when that was.

They just go off baby's average size. Baby could actually be younger or older but just have had a growth spurt, or not ifyswim.
