Hello,
What are everyone's go to baby essentials stores/websites, please?

I'm looking for one with really cute baby clothes, blankets, toys etc to indulge in some browsing and shopping before baby comes!

I generally like the Scandinavian styles of clothes, colourful, good quality, cotton. But equally it can't be a super expensive shop, as I wouldn't be able to afford that anyway.

What are your favourites for particularly cute and good quality baby essentials?

Good question - following!

Another one wondering the same! In my last pregnancy (years ago!) Mothercare was the go to place. Now I'm at a bit of a loss for basics like changing mats etc.

I think I'll end up resorting to Amazon. I bought the pram online which was a bit of a gamble because I didn't have the chance to see it or try it out, and it wasn't ideal!

If you are anywhere near Derby, Babyplanet are great. Gave me some fantastic discounts on my pram and car seat.

They have a website and the pricing is really good but they discount more in person.

Stores
-Mamas and papas (a little on the expensive side)
-Smyths toy superstore (have many basics as they have a baby room)
-Google independent baby stores in your area, I’ve found 6 that I didn’t know existed pre pregnancy.

  • Ikea (you’d be surprised what these stock)
  • jojo meme Bebe (expensive but good quality)
  • John Lewis
Online
  • kiddies kingdom (during covid, they’ve had a lot of stock, and they are on top cash back.
-online4baby (on TopCashback, and have ex Mothercare stock, you might order from these with a 2/3 months wait but I didn’t mind that)
  • Hugo and me (have some Scandinavian style things)
-precious baby (I’ve not shopped here but heard good things).

If you have fb add Hugo and me and it should bring up other similar style shops.

Clothes - next, Sainsbury’s, boots, Tesco, Debenhams (plus stores above).

I’ve probably missed some here, but it’s a bit of a start :)

Boots have a baby event on top atm. Join their parenting club and look on your Advantage card app (the offers section). I’ve got a child’s farm kit, 2 bottles and 2 packs of breast feeding pads since I joined at 12 weeks (I’m 28 weeks now).

If you like brights and scandi baby eco clothes Little Goat Gruff, Babi Pur and Funky Little People are great online shops that stock some.fab brands. Maxamorra, Duns, smafolk, villervalla etc. Got alot of DDs clobber from there

Hi.

I'm in a couple of groups. They are all much of a muchness' with plenty of selling posts. But the ones I'm in and have sold/bought from are.

Love for the scandi clothes UK sales group and
