Hi all, i need a little help here as i dont know if i should be concerned about this or not?

Im 25+4 and for the last few days have been experiencing quite alot of tightening of my bump, non painfull but some of which have enabled me to stand up straight. I have also had an accasional heavy feeling lower down, also a slight increase in discharge and lower back pain since yesterday...

I know the tightening could just be bh, but i dont want to ignore this if there is a risk it could be something else!

I don't think that's anything to worry about. I'm at about the same stage as you and have had similar kinds of symptoms and nothing bad seems to be happening!

If you're concerned tho, you should give your MW a call. that's what they're there for!

You should give your midwife a call. Maybe you have a urinary infection that could be causing the lower back pain? Or thrush can cause the increase in discharge.

Call midwife, if it is a urine infection that can start early labour if left untreated. Always better to get checked out as better safe than sorry imo.

I can only speak to a on call midwife today as my Doctors surgery where my midwife is, is closed today as where i live its a bank holiday today. I dont really want to bother them on a day off. The tightenings dont seem to be happening if i stay with my feet up (not usefull when i need to clean)!

How are you today didsnbump?

Julie07 if you're worried then give your midwife or labour ward a call, they should be able to help or tell you who to call.
