When you had morning sickness did you actually throw up? I've been sick for a week now and it's just empty wretching. Is this normal?

I’m afraid so. Some women don’t get sick at all. Some women only feel nauseous it don’t throw up. Some like you feel nauseous and wretch, I unfortunately was nauseous 24/7 and threw up anything and everything including bile.

For some women it clears up By week 13 but others it doesn’t.

@Greenbks I'm only 6 weeks, I can't imagine another 7 weeks like this. How are we meant to go to work? Jeez Sad

Sorry it’s bad, pregnancy can suck and I found myself miserable the first few months. If you are really struggling take some time off, as leave or sick. Also sickness can fluctuate. I found weeks 6-9 the absolute worst and lost a lot of weight due to throwing up every hour but after that it was almost bareable (Perhaps bcos I had been throwing up so much and then was able to eat a little and keep it in).

Take it easy as much as you can
