I keep seeing ads and think ooh those baby clothes/accessories look cute for that price but I'm reluctant to order as I dont know anyone who has bought from them, to say whether they think its worth it or not or if theres issues with delivery etc. What have your experiences been? Many thanks x

A lot of it is poor quality. It's shipped from China so takes a long to time come. Sizing is weird. I'm sure there's some nice stuff on there but it's luck of the draw I find.

I’ve ordered a few bits and my experience was good. They took a while to arrive but are decent quality and very cute. The sizes are a bit haphazard - some claim to be 0-3 months but are definitely more like 3-6 months.

A word of warning though, there was another thread on this subject recently and a few people had had really negative experiences and one poster said PatPat have ripped off designs for clothes she sells, so for that reason I’ve decided not to buy from them again cos I don’t want to support a company which steals other people’s work.

I was gifted a few things from this brand when dc was born and really don't rate the quality. All nylon crap. Nice packaging though.

A family friend bought us a few bits & pieces. It was a bit of a mixed bag, some items were ok & others were such poor quality (cheap looking).

  • I believe that they are well known for ripping off designs by small designers.
  • The baby grows aren't listed as 100% cotton.
  • You can get nice stuff in supermarkets for cheaper.
  • You wont be able to return goods if you don't like them, as they are not governed by UK consumer laws and you'd have to pay shipping back to China.
  • It's not a company that's paying taxes in the UK or supporting the economy here.
  • Goods are coming from China so may take a while to arrive.

So there's all the bad points to consider. However, some people have ordered from PatPat and been very happy with what turned up, so as long as you know the score, it's your choice to make.

Oh and I think the reason why the quality is hit or miss is because they're probably just selling goods found on Alibaba, so they're coming from all different factories around China.
