Hook effect, or problem?

As the title says, I’m honestly quite confused. On the 22nd of July, I had a very very faint positive on a FR test. Great news right? At the same time I had a weird bleed that went from brown to red to brown again within three days that my period should have been due. (Nothing close to what I usually have) I phoned the EPU and the nurse told me it’s probably an implantation bleed and to retest in a few days so I did. Stronger positive again! Still great news.

But, bc of irrational worry due to having a miscarriage at 5 months pregnant this past January (bean had Sirenomeloa syndrome) I did another test for peace of mind that it’s happening again, only to find they’re all getting so faint the latest is a squinter! Obviously I’m worried and have what should be my 8 or 9 week scan next Friday but I’m just wondering if anybody else has dealt with a similar testing routine and had theirs fade after a certain point in pregnancy?

I’m sorry for your previous loss Flowers

I had hook effect with my current pregnancy. Best way to tell is to dilute urine and test that and see if the test is stronger than neat urine.

Thank you @notasillysausage! I had a go at doing that today with the last of my POAS strips but I think I diluted it too much unfortunately! I know whatever is gona happen will be dealt with but it’s still such a worry (•~•)/
