Has anyone had one?

I really like the look of them... and the price?

Trying to find somewhere I can check it out!

Xx

I had a stomp v3 and loved it. But it took up
A lot of boot space and the car seat was tricky to get in and out but it could've just been me

I had one (think it was the v3) and absolutely loved it. Came with everything we needed, car seat included.

Only issue we had with it was the car seat didn't have the wedge to make it flat for a new born but we called up to say it hadn't arrived with the package and they sent one out straight away. Helpline people were also lovely.

The big wheels come off so it is easier to put in the boot. I personally thought it was great and a brilliant price too compared to all the others.

I've just bought the v4 and up to now am happy with it.
Baby isnt due for 2 more weeks but from what I can tell it's nice and light, folds down and back up easy despite needing both hands to fold and the big wheels come off to help it fit in the car. The basket underneath is pretty big too which is handy.

I’ve been to have a look at it and it looks good for the cheap price. I’ve decided against it as the material seems quite cheap and flimsy. We live up north with cold winds in the winter so going to go for something with thicker material.
It did push really nicely and looked nice.

Thank you, for those that had it, what cars have you got if you dont mind me asking.

It's really a minefield and so many are so expensive! X

We've tried ours in a citroen c4(7 seater version) and a Nissan Qashqai. Both of these are quite big cars with spacious boots though so it might be worth measuring or testing it for a smaller car.

You're absolutely right about it being a minefield, theres so many different ones on the market but it's not always easy to find one that meets your needs within a reasonable price

we have a stomp v3 and we have a volkswagen up, the base and the carry cot both fit in the boot, and we dont even have to take the wheels offX

ceebee21 · 09/08/2020 09:34

Thank you, we are actually thinking of getting a qashqai before baby comes, so good to know.

The other pram I like the mamas and papas ocarro, but basically double if not more than the ickle bubba!

We assembled our Stomp V4 yesterday and we adore it. Really easy to put together and we both got the hang of putting it up and down very quickly. The quilted material in the carry cot is super soft too.

I haven't put car seat in yet but pram fits in our boot and we have an ASX.

I got ours on Online4Baby as a deal, where you get a travel cot, travel high chair and swing with your travel system which seemed a great deal for is :)

Not used mine yet, but put my Ickle bubba v3 togther and all looks perfect! I know removing the car seat is a little stiff but it does just need a bit of practice and it does start to slide off easily. It doesn’t fit in my corsa boot though, only if I remove the parcel shelf which is not ideal..

Tottee99 · 16/08/2020 00:03

V3 is set up in Smyths toy superstore with car seat also so you can look and have a push, but I brought from a smaller retailer

@OoOoBabyLove
Sorry to revive an old thread but beginning just to think about prams and car seats etc!
I also have a VW up and so good to see someone with an up and an ickle bubba. Would you mind if I asked you a little bit about it?

Princessbanana · 04/11/2020 19:53

Don’t think the car seat seat done well in crash testing, so for that reason I would avoid and go with a different travel system. Maxi cosy have great car seats and you can get adapters to fit the car seat on most pranks.

NotAloneButLonely · 04/11/2020 21:15

I have read that maxi Cosy car seats can also fit on ickle bubba so I’m tempted but who knows !

Princessbanana · 07/11/2020 23:55

I would go for the maxi cosi if I was you. I’ve had the maxi cosi cabrio fix and it’s a great seat, I genuinely couldn’t complain about it and I got the easy fix base that could be either belted in or isofixed into the the car. It’s so handy, just put the car seat in the base, let it click, make sure the indicator is green and your good to go!

Hi there,

Did this fit in the Qashqai? We’re trying to find information and can’t seem to find if it does.

Thank you

DavisKat · 27/06/2021 13:11

Did you end up getting a Qashqai and did it fit? We’re looking at getting the Stomp V3 but cannot find info on it fitting in a Qashqai.

Thank you!
