I’m 25 weeks and in the same situation . I’ve been wearing mine the past 2 weeks . I suggest investing in some nicer masks . I use some by a brand ‘sea to summit‘ and they are thin and comfortable. You get use to it though . I get very breathless going up the stairs though and that’s a struggle 😩

I've had to wear a mask at work from March and omg they are awful, I'm confined to a vehicle on my own but still have to wear it. In this heat it makes me feel constantly sick (to the point of retching), I sweat profusely and am breathless not to mention how tired I get. By the end of a 12 hour shift I'm absolutely exhausted. Ive asked if I can source my own but not allowed! Bring on the cooler weather or my mat leave

Would wearing a face shield be an option if you asked your workplace? They are much more comfortable and arguably provide greater protection as they cover your whole face. You can buy them for about £5 on Amazon. A friend is a manager in a small supermarket and he bought them for his whole team to wear at work

A face shield is not a good substitute for a mask, as your exhalations simply come out from under it. The mask is to protect others. Add a visor as well if you think a further level (protecting your eyes and making it less likely you will touch your face) is a good idea

I think the answer is to practice. It sounds daunting, but you will become very used to it very quickly. You might need to experiment with different kinds of masks so you find one which is comfortable
