Final two weeks.. what to look out for..?

I'm due the 23rd and I'm just wondering what people's experience was in the last couple of weeks and anything to look out for. So far my midwife apps have been pretty useless they dip my wee, measure my belly and listen to heartbeat. No birth plan discussed, no info on pain relief, nothing about what to look out for or when to go to the hospital etc. I've obviously done some research and spoken to my friends and family but Is there anything you ladies can tell me about your last couple of weeks that I should be looking out for etc and what happened prior to labour beginning?

TIA for any info x

-Buy some home dipsticks and keep dipping your wee. My GD suddenly appeared 2 days before DS was due and I had to have an emergency induction to get him out
-I did suddenly get really tired and fed up.

Other than that, nothing. Just please try and enjoy these last few weeks

Not too helpful as I’m 38+4 with my first but if you want more birth info then the labourpains website is very good. Kellymom good if you’re looking into breast feeding. I’ve felt pretty normal so far to be honest! Remember could be up to 2 weeks post dates so the last fortnight could actually be the last month! So I’m not trying to symptom spot too much

Yeah I'm hoping it's not another month @vinoelle and refusing to acknowledge that today 🤣 I'm all of a sudden absolutely exhausted this last couple of days and got really strong lower back ache, like griping, hoping it's a sign I won't go over but who knows!
Thanks for the recommendations for the sites 👍🏼
Which dipsticks is it @2155User that I would need to buy? Thanks for the advice x

I'm due on the 17th and did the birth plan labour talk yesterday with my midwife at my 38 week appointment. Definitely bring it up at your next appointment.

Some women see the loss of the mucus plug but my midwife said lots of women lose it without realising. The best bit of advice she had was to make sure you get plenty of rest and high carb foods when you start to have contractions as giving birth is like a marathon and you need energy to get to the end.

Thank you @2155User
I've messaged my midwife now @Superscientist and she is going to do a home visit as her stand in should have done all this at the 36 week app and didn't so I feel a bit better about it now. Will definitely try to carb up though when it starts thank you x
