Hi I am ten weeks pregnant and this week have had awful migraines...just above the eye. Anyone got any tips to stop the pain?

Also just out of interest, I've only had them before with my boys ..did anyone having girls get them?

I feel your pain I had them with my first (a girl). I just had to sleep in a dark room with a cold press on my head. Nothing else worked. I tried to stay off my phone and computer as much as possible and drink water. The only thing I think the doctor would prescribe would be paracetamol but even when I'm not pregnant and have a migraine it never touched them. They seem to go away after 12 weeks. If they become unbearable see your GP good luck xx

Heat bag on the back of your neck and dunk your face into a sink or bowl full of icy cold water. Been using that method for years and it gives some relief sometimes Temporary and sometimes it gets rid of it completely.

Suffering migraines now for over 30 years I finally found a miracle cure in a nasal spray available on prescription only.
After my ds I had massive headaches and although a mw said she would not OK it my GP said he would have recommended I still use them during pregnancy as no known effects on the unborn baby. Personal choice but I would have still used the had I known.
