Ectopic and pregnancy after?

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and just had a scan last week because of some spotting. It's ectopic therefore not viable and they called me in for surgery immediately to have it and my fallopian tube removed this week.

Anyone here had this done before and successfully conceived/birthed a healthy child after? Give me some hope? I'm scared of going in for the operation.

Yes, surgery wasn’t discussed with me but I would of opted for the injection if it had been. There is less chance of damage to your Fallopian tubes with it, it meant returning weekly to check my bloods. The ectopic pregnancy was very near my ovary so maybe that is why I was offered this option.

I had a partially ruptured ectopic 3 weeks ago at 5weeks and required laparoscopic salpingectomy (tube removal). Surgery went well and I stayed overnight. No visitors as was on a mixed covid ward and I didn’t need a mask as an inpatient.
I’m back at work (midwife on labour ward), stitches still there as not dissolved completely but no pain.
I am devastated I lost a tube but I am alive and well

Ruptured ectopic actually 10 years ago to the day, massive blood loss. Had the right tube removed. The surgeon said there was a point where they were worried whether I'd pull through because of the blood loss. However, I ate loads of steak afterwards, the wound which is about 20cm across healed fast. In six weeks I was pregnant again, iron levels were normal. My DS was born at 37 weeks and is now an gorgeous 9 year old. Got pregnant with DD first time trying (DS was six months old) she is nearly 8.
