Cramping at 13 weeks

Morning all, I’m 13+2 and today am having quite painful lower abdomen cramps. I’ve barely had any this whole time but today this is the worst they’ve been and for the longest period. Are cramps still normal at this time? No bleeding or spotting

I had my worst cramping by far at about the same time too OP. Hadn't had much to speak of before that, and then at about 12/13 weeks it would keep suddenly starting and stopping. It was so bad a couple of times that I had to lie down. It fizzled out a couple of weeks later. I've had no problems. Just the uterus expanding I guess. Try not to worry!

Thank you @Somethingsnappy for your reassurance! So kind of you. I did have a little lay down and that helped!

Hi OP,

I'm a FTM and I had cramping on and off from about week 8 until about 20 weeks. Would mostly wake up from them in the middle of the night but id have a big drink of water and they would ease ... I read on here about drinking water actually and it helped me :)

At the time it is scary but now that I see how big my belly has expanded to, its no wonder. I was never going to get here without a little bit of achiness!

I think you will be fine 💗

Thank you @SilverLining89! I’ll give that a go Smile
