34 weeks, not feeling well

For the last 2/3 weeks I've been feeling extreme exhaustion and fogginess. I wake up and am tired again straight away, I have a 1 year old and this could be part of the reason, but I just generally don't feel well. I saw midwife 3 days ago and blood pressure/urine was ok, but the next day after that appointment my feet swelled up quite a lot and last night I noticed my right hand was swollen. Hand swelling has gone down this morning but feet remain swollen. I was induced in last pregnancy at 37 weeks due to protein in urine, suspected onset of pre eclampsia. I don't want to make a fuss and go in if what I'm feeling is generally normal, argh!

I’d give them a call. My feet swelled when I was 36 weeks but only because I was still commuting. I stopped and it eased.

It might just have been the very hot weather and water retention if you were drinking lots of fluids to keep cool, but better to be checked over.

You can’t be making a fuss when pregnant, they are clear on NHS website to call in when sudden swelling! Hope all works out ok x

In my first pregnancy my midwife said that if your feet are getting swollen as they say goes on then that's normal, but if you wake up and they're swollen then that's potentially a concern. Definitely worth giving them a ring :)

Thanks ladies, went in today and had all necessary tests done, thankfully no signs of anything other than just pregnancy swelling :)

I'm in a very similar situation and have a blood pressure monitor and a pack of urine testing strips at home - great for reassurance.
