Has anyone got tips on the best ways of easing sciatic pain? Its niggling today. I'm only 18 weeks so hoping to try and make sure it doesn't get too bad before the end.

Oh I think I have this, I get an achy pain in my left hip and down my leg :( I haven't found a solution either, I'm 18 weeks today, I thought it could be due to me sleeping on that side

I have had this for a while now. I am 30 weeks. I recommend stretching your legs and hips, particularly before bed, if you google 'stretches for Sciatica' there is one where you put your foot on your knee when you're sat down that really helps. Also I have found it is better when I am more active in the day, so I try and go on a few walks, and one just before bed. It is horrible though and I haven't got rid of it.

As @FlapJackered said - stretches are your best way out definitely - just start mega gentle and don't expect complete relief at once

Don't stand for too long and don't sit down for too long.
I have a yoga ball which helps when my back is really bad, and physio gave me a large tubigrip which kind of helps, although I've stopped using it now as my bump is getting a bit too big x

I suffered really badly with sciatica pain a couple of weeks ago at 25 weeks pregnant. I do a bodybalance class once a week (luckily the gym I go to is doing online classes just now) and although it was difficult the week I was in pain it actually made such a difference and I have been fine since! It’s a mix of yoga, Pilates and tai chi - there might be classes online somewhere and it’s completely safe to do while pregnant, there’s some abs exercises too but just make sure to be on elbows rather than on back 😊
