40+3 here and every niggle I get excited about and then nothing 😫 any other overdue ladies struggling with the heat??

Yeah 40+3 and so ready for this baby to come out now. Was 3cm on Wednesday and then nothing since 🙁

Ooo 3cm - I’m waiting for a sweep on Wednesday and guessing they’ll tell me how many cm I am then?

Yeah I have got another sweep on Tuesday so hopefully things will get going then. Yeah this will be my first. Is it your first and do you know what your having?

Yep I'm 40+5 and so fed up!!! Been feeling twinges and 'signs' for a couple of weeks, had a sweep on tuesday and was told my cervix was still far back and only 1cm... that was wo disappointing! I'm so uncomfortable and just want baby here now

@hermionelodge I feel you. I’ve not been offered a sweep until 41 weeks, is this late? I thought that was normal. Hoping it goes well. I don’t particularly want to be induced

I'm not sure, this is my first baby and I was just offered one on my due date so took it, maybe just depends on the midwife. I'm the same, I really do not want to be induced but I have my induction date booked in already if there is no progress 😔 I've just been trying to keep really active through the days and bounce on the ball hoping that will help. Hopefully your sweep works for you if you dont go into labour beforehand
