Does anyone have any experience with waiting for a surgical abortion? I have a consultation on Wednesday and was wondering how likely it is for me to get an appointment the following Monday or Tuesday. I go on holiday that Friday and have my a level results on the Thursday so I am already very stressed. The waiting is killing me. I am thinking of ringing the line again tomorrow to ask if they have any earlier consultations because 5 days seems a very long time to wait. Any help is seriously appreciated I’m worrying so much!!

I suggest you ring their helpline. They are open today. The situation is constantly changing with changing numbers of clients on the waiting list so none of us can usefully advise.
I have professional contact with them fairly frequently and have always found them to be a really helpful team. Explain your situation and ask what you can expect time-wise. Sometimes they can offer a sooner appointment at a different location
