And would love to hear experiences with it 😊 I'm 31 weeks today and hoping for a spontaneous, natural birth.

I started as soon as i got into the third trimester. I had 1-2 cups a day. My labour was 3 hours long so it may have helped!

I drank the tea by the bucket load from 32 weeks with child 1 - took over 2 days for him to be born.
I took the tablets from 32 weeks with child 2 and probably 1 cup of the tea a day, not expecting anything to happen. 6 hour labour.

Also drank shitloads throughout 3rd trimester, also had a 3 hour labour!

I drank about 3 mugs a day went into labour at 39 weeks and had a spontaneous vaginal delivery.

@bluemoon2468 I was 38+6. I had a sweep at 38 weeks as I'd been having cramps for a couple weeks so since 36 weeks. At the sweep I was 2cm dilated and she stretched me to 3cm. That was the Monday. On the Tuesday went in for reduced movements and they could see I was contracting mildly but wasn't bothering me. Nothing more happened and then 12:00am on the Saturday I got up for a wee and my waters broke. Contractions went from 15 minutes apart to 1 minute apart in the space of an hour, started pushing in the car on the way, got to hospital at 2:30am and gave birth at 3:08am. I was 10cm dilated when I arrived.

I do think it helped to be honest. That and bouncing on my birthing ball in the late stages.

I was actually induced at 40+12. But raspberry leaf tea isn’t meant to bring on labour, it’s supposed to make your contractions more effective when labour does start. I had one dose of the gel and the hospital booked me in for a second dose the next day as they weren’t expecting it to work. Of course the tea may have been nothing to do with it but certainly the speed of my labour was not expected at all!

I drank it from 32 weeks and delivered at 38+6 after a fairly easy labour (started about midnight, slept on and off till 6, increased contractions after that, got to hospital at 9cm Dilated, baby delivered at 11.42am)

Seems like it can make a difference! I just ordered some. I'll be 36 weeks on Monday.

@HarrietM87 wow, a 3 hour labour after an induction is amazing!
