Hey all,

was just wondering if any one had some good tips for me. I have a weird sensory quirk, I basically can't stand to wear high or medium waisted trousers. Before becoming pregnant I would always find it tricky to find jeans that I could wear, but luckily there are some brands that still make low rise Jeans.

for this reason during my pregnancy I've been having a bit of a nightmare clothing wise. I've mainly been living in dungarees and a couple of dresses as i've yet to come across any low waisted bottoms. I tried a couple of 'under bump' trousers on line but they actually come up to what i'd consider a mid-rise and I end up having to roll them down which is uncomfortable. Obviously the pandemic has made buying clothes awkward as I'm not really comfortable in enclosed spaces so i've had to make do with online shopping which isn't ideal. I'm so sick of wearing dungarees now though. I am 35 weeks now and need the toilet often and also it's getting warmer out. I used to be in jeans and tops a lot before becoming pregnant but I would even settle for joggers, stretchy trousers, shorts, whatever I can find by this point that is low waisted.

So can anyone recommend some suitable bottoms that I could check out?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @mypethip. I am the same- hate tight waistbands that dig in at the best of times, let alone now with a bump!
Google shirred waist trousers- I got a really stretchy black pair in primark and just went up a size so I can wear them low below the bump

Hey OP, I'm similar in the sense that I hated anything fitted around my chest or waist even before pregnancy and at 29 weeks pregnant am no different! I have been living in jumpsuits and dresses, and actually bought two pairs of Love Leggings maternity leggings which are waaay less restrictive than normal leggings. Good luck!
