They have an offer on at the moment so was thinking about buying a load but don't want to if they're rubbish

They used to be when mine was a baby but that was a decade ago!

ButterflyOfFreedom · 30/07/2020 16:46

Yes! I used them with both of mine.

itisntfriday0000000000l · 30/07/2020 16:48

Yes fab for size 1 and 2 not so great for 3s though x

itisntfriday0000000000l · 30/07/2020 16:48

They do some good deals on wipes too

TinySleepThief · 30/07/2020 16:50

Yes they are fab!! However a small wors of warning. When you get to size 3 they are like a completely different nappy brand. Fortunately they brought out a premium range at Christmas in which the size 3 nappies are designed like the normal range's size 1 and 2 nappies so we are using those as the standard size 3s felt very cheap in comparison and they didnt have the wetness indicator.

They all contain poo explosions well and last all night without leaking plus they are very reasonably priced so all in all no complaints here. Smile

Zhampagne · 30/07/2020 16:54

They are excellent, as are Lidl.

ThickFast · 30/07/2020 16:56

They’re the best. I didn’t notice a change at size 3.

LutherRalph1 · 30/07/2020 17:02

Used to love them but don't know if it was a duff batch or not but they leaked every night and tabs didn't stick all of a
Sudden so we switched

Mmmmycorona · 30/07/2020 17:03

1 and 2 good, 3’s rubbish.

ChilliBeanSauce · 30/07/2020 17:09

Better than pampers imo

PrayingandHoping · 30/07/2020 17:15

Yes really good. Much better than pampers!

BeMorePacific · 30/07/2020 18:04

Yep, they were great for my little boy xx

Cherryrainbow · 30/07/2020 19:01

I remember them being good when I had my son nearly 7 years ago, the mamia range was my go to. I've got some newborn Pampers atm but will keep an eye out to stock up on mamia again and see if they're as good x

timeforawine · 30/07/2020 19:04

They were great, we used from birth to toilet training at 2 and all sizes were great, no leaks, no rash

MoominKitty · 30/07/2020 19:09

We used size 1 and 2 but found size 3 rubbish so switched to Morrisons nutmeg ones.

crochetandchai · 30/07/2020 20:14

Yes, we use them with our 2 year old and have bought some for in prep for our second baby.
Babies are all built differently though, so one brand/size might work for one baby but not for another, so it's sometimes a case of trying different brands until you find the right fit for your baby.

Wishing56 · 30/07/2020 22:50

Yeah they are great. I used pampers to start with (needed size 0 which mamia don't do) and half way through using size 1 switched from pampers to mamia and I haven't looked back.
Now using size 3's. I agree size 3 was a total different quality - felt thinner and no wetness indicator but honestly they do the job and no leaks! I did try the premium size 3s but I am happy to stick with the normal size 3's as they are so much cheaper - and I have twins so go through ALOT of nappies! At this age (6months) I also don't feel a wetness indicator is necessary.

RedRumTheHorse · 30/07/2020 23:01

I use them up to size 2. (They did use to have a size 0.) Now using them again at size 6.

In between I preferred Sainsburys. They are a more generous fit.

I also use Asda and Lidl. Randomly used Pampers and don't find them any better than the supermarket brands.

The worse nappies are Boots and Co-Op.

Dyra · 30/07/2020 23:45

The newborn sizes are excellent.

Sizes 3 and on are nowhere near as good, but still get the job done. Though I found they weren't as effective at night after a while. I definitely missed the wetness indicator.

luxuryholiday · 31/07/2020 02:49

The smaller sizes are good. I switched to pampers around size 4 though due to leaks.

Nsws2015 · 31/07/2020 10:30

I love the mamia premium ones, my mum got be a jumbo pack of the standard ones and we tried 3/4 out of the pack and they all leaked! I wish I had looked at the reviews on aldi's website as they all said the same regarding the size 3s. Lil man had a premium one on overnight and no leaks, and they're so soft!

brainstories568 · 31/07/2020 14:55

We use Aldi. Currently using size 4 with our 1.5 year old and no issues. Due to lockdown and not having a car we've been bulk buying Pampers on Amazon, and also have Tesco on the go but would prefer to get more Aldi if only we could get to the shop as we think they're better.

I had no idea there was a premium and non premium range - how do you tell?! Ours are in a green mamia bag.

Mmsnet101 · 31/07/2020 15:02

They are great, as are Lidls. My LO just started nursery and I noticed that every one of the babies is using mamia nappies and wipes (parents all bring their own).

Their formula is great too, if you are need/want it.

Drogonssmile · 31/07/2020 15:06

Best of the lot in my opinion for both my children. Better than Pampers by a mile.

Natbxx12 · 07/12/2021 00:24

Agree with everyone here. Loved rhe size 1s and 2s and then when we went into size 3 they were awful. They felt cheap and flimsy and they have no structure to them. Tried the premium size 3s and they are amazing! They're super cute and soft and they fir brilliantly. Struggling to find size 4 premium in our shop so going to have to search around otherwise we will switch brand
