I am 7 weeks pregnant, and for the past week and a half I have been nauseous, throwing up all through the day, everything seems to trigger it. I can't keep anything down, even water seems to make me vomit. Literally up until the moment I fall asleep, and beginning the instant that I begin to wake up, it's a constant pain in my stomach. I genuinely do not know how I am going to cope. Please if anybody has any advice I would be so appreciative!

I vomited for much of my pregnancies but not enough for it to be serious.

If you can’t keep water down it’s best to contact your GP because you can become dehydrated and may need fluids.

If you can keep fluids down I found the following helped- get up In the and vomit if you need to. Get it out of the way first thing. All that stuff about eating a biscuit before you get out of bed never worked for me as it just came straight back up.
Try to eat small amounts often. It’s when your stomach is empty it all feels worse. 4pm in the afternoon was a particularly low point for me. I remember sitting in tear with DH coaxing me to eat dinner. It does help to eat but I actually had to force myself.
Sucking on sweets, nibbling on a biscuit, drinking fruit juice all seemed to help too.
It is a wretched feeling but it won’t be for ever- just try to keep your eyes on the prize of a lovely snuggly baby at the end.
