Morning all. At my 20 week scan recently I was told that the uterine artery resistance was showing as raised. I understand this means that the blood flow to the placenta is not as good as it should be and it can lead to poor growth in baby and/or pre-eclampsia. I've been booked in for additional scans and blood pressure/urine tests in a few weeks time.
Does anyone have experience of this? Does a high reading at this (relatively) early stage always indicate that there will be problems later? I'm not stressing about it at the moment but just not sure how concerned I should be!
