Freezer meals for first weeks

6 weeks to go, I'm starting to think about cooking meals to stock up the freezer so husband/I can quickly pull something out when it's been a manic day. Lacking inspiration big time, so... what would you cook? Apart from lasagne, cottage pie (already got them on the list).
Links to recipes too please if you've got a failsafe fave.

Thanks x

I don’t get the whole eating with one hand thing!
Usually because you’re cuddling or feeding. a baby or rocking a crib with the other one.

Things you can eat with one hand! I made loads of lasagne and ended up having to get my partner to slice it up for me as I was always trying to eat one handed with my son either asleep or feeding in my other arm. I made lots of chilli which was good.

Aside from things that have already been said, I recommend freezing some portions of chicken with sauces. For example I made a few portions of chicken breast slices in pesto so that I could just pot on a pot of water and bung the chicken in the oven to warm through.

Chilli was really good as could be used on jacket potato, in tacos or with rice.

I also highly recommend getting some foil takeaway style trays from amazon in different sizes that you can just throw in the oven. I got a pack with double and single portions. Double ones were used for portions for both my husband and I or for dishes like cottage pie.

We were very sad when they ran out so stocked up from cook (at greater expense)

Gosh I must be mean as I put my kids down and didn’t feed them for the whole 12 min it took me to eat a meal!
