Evap line any experiences?

Hi everyone baby is 3months old and past couple days been feeling off. Had a slip up 10 days ago but TMI was on my period thought we were safe so didn't take MAP. We'll last night did a boots 5 days early test negative so put it on the side thinking brilliant. Looked at it this morning and this was the result. Any experiences?

I had a few similar to this.

The line looks quite thin, so I would guess at an evap line, but could be wrong.

I really hope so I already have 4 boys and was done for a few years at least. But God that threw me it's so pink. Obviously I know there is always a chance because of the slip up but I thought it was practically zero cuz it was only day 3 of cycle

If I took that test, I would have thought it was positive. Can you get a First Response and check in the morning?

@zippityzip yeh think I might have too absolutely bricking it my 2 middle are only 11 months apart and they were hard work

That looks positive to me OP.

@namesall iv 5 years between first 2 and then 5 years between 3rd and 4th so great age gap where they understand when u say gimme a minute thank god.

@justanotherneighinparadise thanks for looking is it bad I'm still praying someone will come along and say no boots are crap and notorious for evap lines as would mean just under 1 year between baby and next one I might die from shock lol

Sorry OP but I think that looks clearly pink which would mean bfp wouldn't it? Evans don't have colour do they x

@BabyB19 that's what I thought too and it's not even a squinter did one on Monday was clearly negative and stayed that way but was only 9days after slip the other is 10days after

I would be taking that as a bfp 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ I know not what you want to hear but I'd be prepared for a stronger line on the next one 🤞🏼

That looks positive to me. You really need to take another test!

Oh god may go out and get some later think my partner will die of shock if next one is positive. Would u all recommend frer or is there any other cheap tests as good?

FRER is best I would say.

I've had terrible indents on FRER loads of times but when they have been positive it's been very clear they were positive so I still carried on using them

Definitely try a frer... I find them easy to use. I think yours might be a BFP... let us know x

Have held out going to the shop as couldn't be assed trying to get 4 out of the house lol so will do one tomorrow or Friday and update u all

So when I was 7dpo I took a clear blue and it looked negative so I dumped it. Later that evening I was emptying the bin and noticed a second line appeared. Lots of people told me it was evap after it was to long after the initial time frame it’s meant to show up in. But as they say... it can’t be an evap if it has colour. I’m now around 6 weeks :) here is my late line at 7dpo and then my digital at 19dpo. Best of luck x

Plus I hate frer. A lot of indents in them and false lines of lately. I love clear blue 6 days early

In my opinion it’s a BFP - would recommend FRER as they seem to be the most sensitive in my experience.

Thanks @2020wish for sharing I'm probably the only person on here praying it was an evap as I'm struggling with lockdown and having a newborn so it would be a shock. @BabySweet85 yeh clear blue I have had evaps when trying for last baby but kind of new they were evaps by line and colour but never had an evap on a pink dye test ever so that's why I'm wondering

@BabyB19 no haven't done another one will wait til tomorrow that will have been 3 days from that one so should have a definite answer then
