Hi there,
I was wondering whether anyone has been able to take their partner to their 12 week scan as yet? I'm due to have mine next Thursday in Romford and there seems to be some confusion as to whether I have to go alone or whether my dp can join too...

I think it depends on your hospital but I know my local ones are now allowing partners in for the scan but they have to leave immediately after (i.e they can't go with you if you are having bloods taken etc after)
Look it up on your hospitals website under maternity services, mine has information about COVID on there. Other than that just give the number on your letter a call.

Good luck Smile

I think most hospitals that are allowing partners are only doing so for the 20 week scan at the moment, certainly in my area anyway. Best to ring them or see if they have a Facebook page with updates.

Every hospital is different....mine have now started allowing partners to 12 and 20 week scans.
You will need to call up and ask.

Mine are allowing for 12 and 20 week scans (as of 6th July) definitely worth a call

I'm in the midlands and have to do everything alone. DH isn't even allowed to step inside the hospital let alone attend an appointment with me!
It's been horrendous but we understand!
I'm due end of September so I'm really hoping he is allowed in with me for the entire labour and not just active labour but the way things are going with a second spike looming i highly doubt it 😭😭
