Hi everyone so I've just found out I'm pregnant with my 4th baby!!! Due in april 2021. Me and my partner have been trying for 18 months and we've finally done it! Just wanted to see if there was anyone who wanted to share experiences.

Congratulations OP! I got my BFP on Saturday, after trying for 18mnths also! This will be my first ❤️

Very nervous though as had a MC at 7 weeks in Feb. Having twinges and pinching so trying not to get too excited. AF supposed to be due tomorrow.

X

Imylil33 · 27/07/2020 17:45

Congratulations!! I found out on Saturday too!! I had an MMC before my 3rd child so I know exactly how anxious your feeling! Take it one day at a time, easier said then done though lol xx

Hello! I found out yesterday due in April too! Any symptoms?

physicskate · 28/07/2020 14:46

Found out today? Well, I've had two positive tests, so I must be, right?

I've got one dd, 16 months, conceived after 2 chemicals, 2.5 years ttc. She's an ivf baby.

If I am indeed pregnant, this one was from a single quickie. Wasn't tracking. No calendars. Thought I'd ovulated a couple days after from ov pain and relief, but ignored it.

I'm definitely in shock as I never wanted to ttc ever again after how traumatic it was for my mental health last time. Surreal.

Dh doesn't even know yet!

BeckyHolly89 · 28/07/2020 14:56

Congratulations to you all! I had a positive test on Sunday and due in April too. It’s my first so all new to me! Feeling very bloated lol

howmanyroads · 28/07/2020 14:59

Hey everyone, congrats Smile

Think I'll be due (my first) around 2nd April but similar to @Nuttypea had an MMC in March at 9 weeks so definitely taking each day as it comes as @Imylil33 suggests!

@physicskate I'd definitely say 2 tests is positive Grin think you were due an easy catch after that kind of struggle for your first! When will you tell your DH?

@chrissagcat had sore boobs for a couple of weeks now and lightheadnesses today. Plus pink spotting for a week but ignoring that for the sake of my mental health! How about you?

I've been waiting for a call back from midwives to arrange my booking in since Friday.. I am incredibly impatient!

physicskate · 28/07/2020 15:09

Got him a card. It's propped against a box of decaf tea with the tests underneath. Might even try to film the reaction.

howmanyroads · 28/07/2020 16:18

Ahhh definitely film it that will be great to look back on!

chrissagcat · 28/07/2020 17:33

@physicskate haha brilliant!
@howmanyroads well I thought I had none but I've just had a massive nap- two days in a row, usually I'd be bursting with energy so maybe that's a sign.

Telling my mum tomorrow as we are very close and I just can't wait!

Mimba1 · 28/07/2020 17:58

Hi Everyone, just got my BFP on Friday. Another nervous Nellie after 2 MMCs this year. Not calling the midwife yet - they never want to speak to me before 8wks anyway. Did call EPU and have a scan booked for 18 Aug due to history - feels so far away! Fingers crossed for a sticky bean this time!

LolaBee123 · 29/07/2020 16:12

Hello everyone,

Congratulations to you all, I could cry reading about all your happy news!

We've rather unexpectedly but very happily found out I'm 4 weeks + 4! This is our 1St and we can't stop smiling! Even though I'm super nervous too.

I'm in the North East, my GP wouldn't see me but gave me the contact details to book my first midwife appointment. When I rang them they said ring back at 8-12 weeks. So I'm feeling pretty lonely, like this doesn't seem real! It's going to be a long 4 weeks so I'm so pleased to see this group.

Love and wishes to you all x

physicskate · 29/07/2020 16:58

@LolaBee123 yup. They don't do anything really until your first blood test at booking in (which is sometimes done at the same time as the first scan)! It is a weird feeling being so excited and expecting a flurry of activity, but the reality is a bit different!

Dh's face hit the floor. He was a bit shocked. He said 'but that one time! I want a dna test!' He was joking though...

Trying to pretend I'm not pregnant until at least the 6 week mark. This feels so different to dd's pregnancy already... that was all injections and progesterone pessaries. Not sure if I should get my thyroid checked this time?? As it can cause miscarriages, and might be the cause of my first two chemicals...

Imylil33 · 29/07/2020 19:04

Fingers crossed for you Mimba1!!
I had a call from the midwife this afternoon but she doesn't want to see me until 10 weeks and even then its just a phone call? When would my bloods be done does anyone know??

BeckyHolly89 · 29/07/2020 20:18

@LolaBee123 I had to register my pregnancy online so waiting for a call back from the midwife. This is my first so it's all new to me and I'm only 4 weeks pregnant so I have a long wait to see someone!

LolaBee123 · 29/07/2020 20:58

@physicskate that's a relief to know! I'm going to do the same and try and chill out till 6 weeks, it's all abit too surreal at the moment 😁
@BeckyHolly89 the waiting is so hard isn't it! I feel much better just knowing there's other's in the same boat now 💕 good luck with everything!

sindylouwho · 29/07/2020 21:16

Can I join? Due April. Found out yesterday.

Imylil33 · 29/07/2020 21:27

@sindylouwho
Of course you can!! Congratulations!!

OP posts:
BeckyHolly89 · 29/07/2020 21:32

@LolaBee123 thanks, you too!

@sindylouwho congratulations!

Has anyone experienced implantation bleeding?

sindylouwho · 29/07/2020 21:34

Thanks all. My friend is a few weeks pregnant ahead of me. She's had it.

Nuttypea · 30/07/2020 06:15

Been up since the crack of bloody dawn, just need some virtual hand holding. Have had some poking pains regularly in my left side. I called EPAU who advised me to go to A&E. I work at the hospital so nipped round there on Tuesday. They did an internal examination, which was awful. I mean atleast with a smear you know it's going to happen and you can bloody prepare right? All I could think about was my hairy knees and what was going on with my foof They also did a pregnancy test, which was faint. However it was 3pm, I'd peed all day and I drink so much water when I'm working, thankfully it was a nice strong positive the following morning on a FRER.

But my main concern is, they took my bloods to check for HCG levels. I was exactly 4 weeks at the time, now 4 weeks and 2 days (super early) and HCG levels were 111. Today I go back at 14.30 to see if that number has risen, and ideally doubled!

I am absoloutley terrified, after a MC in Feb, it is hard to be positive. I am praying it's just wind or something weird and I'm being paranoid. I really want this to be our time, I'm just absoloutley dreading the results.

Is anyone else getting pains other than just period type niggles? I have no other pregnancy symptoms right now.

Hope you're all OK! ❤️

LolaBee123 · 30/07/2020 08:00

@Nuttypea aw that sounds really stressful! I hope things work out today, keep us posted! Everything crossed for you 🤞🤞sounds like you're doing everything right though.
This is my first pregnancy and I honestly have no clue what's going on, I have all sorts of crampy bloaty feelings going on down there! I wish I knew more so I could be more help!
Sending you a virtual hug x

sindylouwho · 30/07/2020 08:19

@Nuttypea hope you get on ok. It's hard not to worry. I've had really bad lower back pain. I don't know if it's how I've been sitting or what. Let us know how you get on.

physicskate · 30/07/2020 12:55

@Nuttypea - not sure if it makes you feel any better, but I had loads of pain when pregnant with my daughter. The pain would regularly wake me up in the middle of the night. Like doubled over crying pain, not niggly cramps or even period pain (which is sometimes get fairly severely. I was even hospitalised overnight at 20 weeks from the pain. They thought it might have been a burst appendix. It wasn't.

I suspected I could be pregnant this time because I've had right sided pain when I get up or stretch.

This doesn't mean that all pain isn't bad, just that some pain isn't.

Nuttypea · 30/07/2020 16:39

@lolaBee123 @sindylouwho thank you both so much, I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner. But was nice to know you had read and replied with support, I really needed it.

@physicskate So glad your 'pains' turned in to a beautiful and healthy daughter. Your message made me feel lots better.

Just had my HCG results back, they are now 250, so have more than doubled. The nurse said it's positive news, but still on the low side but could be down to being so early. I have a scan booked for next weds!

Hope everyone is doing OK, weather is fab here in Sussex, so going to try and chill and enjoy the sunshine. Instead of stressing about everything. Pote tially have another 36 weeks of this malarky 😂

Nuttypea · 30/07/2020 16:40

Ffs, sounded like someone's nan at the end of that "Weather is fab here in Sussex" 😂😂

Never know how to end a message to strangers.... Awkward Annie aren't I!
